In just one day, Max Braun and I developed the prototype for Wie es war, a platform designed to preserve and share personal stories while exploring the history of cities and how places have evolved over time. Our goal was to create a digital space that connects people through authentic narratives and provides a deeper understanding of urban history.
Key features of the prototype include tools for recording and uploading personal stories, a timeline view to explore how locations have changed, and a map-based interface for discovering stories tied to specific places. The platform has the potential to become a powerful resource for education, cultural preservation, and engaging with the evolving identity of cities.
